Management of the BESS dispatch service

With the introduction of TIDE (ARERA Resolution 345/2023/R/eel), the main aim of which is to modernise and streamline the management of the national electricity grid, the ancillary services currently used by Terna to procure dispatching and balancing services on the markets are also being reclassified.

With regard to grid dispatch, BESS systems play a central role, serving as key assets for participation in dispatch services. As energy storage systems, BESS are capable of balancing not only the electricity grid but also generation from non-dispatchable renewable sources, such as solar and wind power, thanks to hybrid configurations.

We offer a profit sharing and/or tolling agreement agreement structure designed for:

✔ Identifying the optimal configuration
